“Turning the Page on the Calendar”

Joshua 1:1-8

One of the difficulties in life is to focus forward and to resist being attached to the past. In other words, it is sometimes difficult to “turn the page on the calendar!”

God set this move up for Israel with a reminder and a promise:

1) Be strong and courageous

2) Then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do

The Book of Joshua gives us four vital principles on how to make this happen:

  1. Refuse to be stuck in the past Joshua 1:2
  2. Understand what you have in the future Joshua 1:3-4
  3. Fix _______________________________ Joshua 1:5
  4. Remain ___________________________ Joshua 1:7-8
