Genesis 32:24-32
God’s plan for us is that we will simply “follow Him.” That was God’s plan for His men in the Old Testament, and it was Jesus’ plan for men He called in the New Testament. God’s plan is for us to come under His authority and remain there. When that plan is not followed, God will move strategically to bring us under His authority. God is unlimited in the moves He has at His disposal. Notice His moves with Jacob:
