Oasis WOVEN Women’s Ministry

No two women are exactly alike, but there are some things about us that are just true. We love deeply. We need each other. We lead. We hold things together. We stress out. We laugh. We give advice. We nurture. We seek answers. The WOVEN Ministry provides a tool to engage women to know Jesus, to seek His kingdom and be spiritually transformed and equipped for service.

W.O.V.E.N. = Willing Obedient Vessels Edifying and Nurturing

The word WOVEN means, “to form by combining various elements or details into a connected whole.” Oasis Community Church WOVEN Women’s Ministry seeks to develop spiritual threads of being connected to God and living in community with others. Woven conveys the relational culture we long to express with each other, and extend to the isolated world that surrounds us. We believe God intends for us to be interrelated such that a visible tapestry of God’s goodness is on display for our good and His glory.

“I want you WOVEN in a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we’ve been shown the mystery.” Colossians 2:2-3 (MSG)

Special Events

Women’s Special Events provide women with opportunities to hear guest speakers, enjoy outings, learn skills or take a retreat. These special events are planned throughout the year. Please continue to check our site for updates on upcoming events.

“A cord of 3 strands is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12b. The purpose of Woven is to connect, encourage and equip women to engage their world with genuine spiritual life. We strive to include all age groups, interests, and personality types so that together we can glorify God and have fun at the same time.  We would love to hear from you!
